As we approach the end of another remarkable year, Eclipse Wholesale takes a moment to reflect on the incredible achievements that have defined our journey in 2023. From the expansion of our dedicated team and successful launch in Scotland to hosting insightful webinars and winning prestigious awards, this past year has been nothing short of a huge success for Eclipse Wholesale.

January: New Year, New Eclipse
To kick off the new year, Eclipse Wholesale launched our exciting rebrand. We bid farewell to the outdated ‘EW’ and embraced a fresh, modern look that aligned with who we are today. Infusing a fresh style into every facet of Eclipse, including our website, social channels, and marketing activities, starting the year with an Eclipse Wholesale makeover was the perfect way to set the tone for the months ahead.
February: The Debut of Channel Corner with James Drake
There was no slowing down in February when we launched our first edition of Channel Corner with James Drake in Comms Dealer Magazine. This quarterly column showcased our Managing Director delving into your channel queries and addressing industry issues with his expertise and insight. Check out our last four editions here
March: YMCA Sleep Easy
In March, our Managing Director, James Drake, teamed up with one of our key channel partners, Bluecube, in their YMCA Sleep Easy 2023 event. Together, they spent a night on the streets of Lincoln, not only raising over £1,600 but also generating awareness and support for the Lincolnshire YMCA and the incredible work they do.
April: Eclipse Wholesale in Scotland
In April, Eclipse Wholesale introduced our new CityFibre Business FTTP solution, revolutionising connectivity across Scotland. The launch marked the beginning of a promising new chapter in Eclipse Wholesale, presenting resellers in the region with an exciting and unparalleled opportunity to elevate their businesses. The launch also introduced our new Channel Partner Sales Manager, Laurence Cribb, who since joining Eclipse has cultivated several successful partnerships with resellers in Scotland, further strengthening our presence in the region. May: Switch Off with Eclipse
With the 2025 switch-off looming, Eclipse partnered up with long-standing channel partner, Zen Internet, to carry out a webinar highlighting the key aspects of the switch-off and how our partnership together can ensure a seamless transition during this time. Watch the full webinar here
June: Four Nominations for Eclipse
June kicked off the start of awards season, where Eclipse gained an impressive FOUR nominations at this year’s Comms Dealer Channel Champions. The team were honoured to walk away with Distributor Billing and Finance Team of the Year as well as being highly commended in the Distributor Marketing Team of the Year Category at the ceremony in July.
July: All About Partners
July proved to be a busy yet successful month for Eclipse. We rolled out our Authorised Partner programme, complete with a fresh new logo aligning with our recent brand refresh. We then had the pleasure of joining one of our key channel partners, ITS, at the Ashes, embracing the opportunity to network, catch up and watch some brilliant cricket. To top the month off, our hard work and achievements were recognised with four nominations at the prestigious Comms National Awards.
August: Eclipse Summer Party
August unfolded as a month of celebration, as the team gathered for the Eclipse Wholesale Summer Party. It was a joyous occasion dedicated to celebrating the collective success and achievements we had accomplished throughout the year so far.
September: Events, Events, Events
The Eclipse team hit three different locations across September. First Manchester for the Zest4 Channel Partner event, which was a fantastic day of networking and collaboration as well as celebrating Zest's 10th Birthday. The next stop was Southampton for Giganet’s Garden Party, it was great to catch up with everyone and celebrate all the success our partnership had brought over the last 12 months. To top it off, Eclipse proudly took home the highly commended Partner of the Year award. The final stop was London for the Comms National Awards, where Eclipse was honoured to be up for four awards.
October: The Celebrations Don’t Stop
The nominations kept rolling in as Eclipse was thrilled to secure three nominations at The Billing People Awards. On the night we were proudly presented with the Commitment to Customer Service award, a testament to our unmatched dedication to providing an excellent service. The celebrations didn’t stop there, as October also marked the 20th work anniversary of our Managing Director, James Drake. James had some words to say about his incredible milestone. Read here
November: Cross the Border to Gleneagles
As we reached the last couple months of the year there was no slowing down. Eclipse hosted our IoT webinar, joined by Anton Le Saux from Zest4 to introduce our partners to the limitless opportunities of IoT. We were then back on the road as our Managing Director, James Drake, attended the incredible Comms Vision event at the Gleneagles Hotel. Shortly followed by the Zen Annual Partner event where Eclipse was recognised in Zen’s Circle of Excellence Category for the amazing service we provide to our partners. During November, the Eclipse team participated in the Newcastle Foodbanks Reverse Advent Calendar food drive, where the team collected urgently needed supplies and in total collected an impressive 272 items!
December: Eclipse Christmas Countdown
December marks the start of the Christmas countdown. This year to celebrate we launched our Eclipse advent calendar where behind each door a fluffy little friend of Eclipse has been out and about attending events, recapping on Eclipse’s key milestones, and getting us all in the festive spirit.
