We're Walking the Wall: Eclipse Wholesale's Trek for Guide Dogs

Eclipse Wholesale is gearing up for an incredible challenge this April as we take on the ambitious task of completing the 84-mile trek along the length of Hadrian’s Wall to raise money for Guide Dogs, our Charity of the Year. Starting from Bowness-on-Solway, we’ll make our way across the historic Roman wall, stopping at Carlisle, Lanercost, Chollerford and Heddon-on-the-Wall, before finishing at Wallsend at the Segedunum Roman Fort.
Every member of the Eclipse Wholesale team will be taking part in this challenge, whether it’s lacing up their hiking boots or fundraising from the office. However, we won’t be doing it alone, as we’ll be joined by not only our friends and family but our channel partners from 8x8, Bluecube, Giacom, Phonebox and Zen. This makes it a real group effort, embodying one of our core values of teamwork. We’re incredibly grateful to our channel partners who have committed to risking the blisters and joining us on this trek. Their support highlights the strong partnerships we have built at Eclipse Wholesale and together we will be tackling miles of terrain and sharing plenty of laughter and encouragement as we power through the pain from our sore feet!
Eclipse Wholesale announced Guide Dogs as our charity of the year at our 20th anniversary event last September. Our goal is to raise £2,500, which allows us the honour of naming a guide dog puppy. Our partnership with Guide Dogs is all about making a real difference and by taking on this challenge, we’re helping to support their mission of providing life-changing support and independence for people with sight loss. The sponsored trek follows a series of successful fundraising events, including our anniversary launch in September and our Christmas Fayre, which have given us a great foundation to grow our fundraising efforts.
Our Managing Director, James Drake, says “I’m really proud of the entire Eclipse Wholesale team and our channel partners for coming together for such an important cause. Walking the wall will be quite the challenge but it’s a true reflection of our commitment to making a positive impact. I’m looking forward to sharing this journey with everyone and can’t wait to see the difference we make together.”
As the walk approaches, stay tuned via our social media as we will be sharing updates on our challenge. If you’d like to support us in reaching our fundraising goal, please donate here.
