We hosted our inaugural annual partner event last Thursday at Live Theatre in Newcastle, marking a major milestone in our growth journey. The aim of the day was to bring our partners and suppliers together to share insights, explore what’s to come over the next 12 months and highlight how Eclipse’s strong supplier relationships can create new opportunities for our customers.
Sponsored by five of our key suppliers, 8x8, CityFibre, ITS, Tekton Billing and Zen Internet, delegates enjoyed a full day of networking, industry insights and engaging presentations delivered the Eclipse team and our valued sponsors.

Senior Account Executive, Sav Eswaravel, from 8x8 kicked the day off with a dynamic demonstration of their intelligent suite of tools. From Microsoft Teams integrations and work apps to CPaaS, AI and contact centre solutions, they showcased the limitless capabilities designed to drive customer success, offerings we’re excited to help our partners bring to market.

Next, Brett Harvey from Tekton Billing shared his passion for all things billing with an engaging overview of Tekton’s platform,
Zoey. Highlighting both Bureau Billing and self-managed options, Brett demonstrated how the right billing solution can bring real value and efficiency for customers.

Connectivity took centre stage with CityFibre’s Sundeep Summan and Jeremy Timmins, who outlined their rapidly expanding fibre footprint. Now reaching 8 million premises and connecting more than 260,000 businesses across the UK, CityFibre’s growth represents huge opportunities for our partners.

David Howson from Zen Internet then highlighted the strength of their long-standing partnership with Eclipse Wholesale. With a commitment to people and planet at the heart of everything they do, Zen continues to grow its full-fibre coverage through CityFibre, Trooli, Freedom Fibre and Openreach, achieving national reach for businesses.

Closing the supplier sessions, Pete England from ITS shared the exciting news that they are expanding into new locations across the UK, including Newcastle upon Tyne. Announcing the launch of full-fibre business connectivity in the city this November, Pete’s update was a perfect fit for the occasion.
The Eclipse Wholesale team then took to the stage, with insightful presentations from our directors, James Drake, Matthew Begg and Adam Franklin.

We reflected on the last 12 months, from our expanding team and alt-net partnerships to our charity work with Guide Dogs, before sharing our roadmap for the year ahead.

Our Sales Director, Matthew Begg, outlined new products and services coming to our stack, including meeting insights, PSTN replacement solutions, international connectivity and safe web security solutions.

Our Technical Director, Adam Franklin, also provided an update on the latest Eclipse Self-Service portal enhancements, alongside the roadmap for future developments. To conclude the event, we launched an exclusive supplier incentive programme, with each sponsor offering something unique to all attendees.

We then finished with a celebration of Eclipse Wholesale’s 21st anniversary, where partners, suppliers and the team came together to enjoy food and refreshments and mark over two decades of success.

James Drake, Managing Director of Eclipse Wholesale, said: "Hosting our first annual partner event is a brilliant milestone for Eclipse Wholesale and a true reflection of how far we’ve come over the past 21 years. Our partners are at the core of our business and bringing them together with our key suppliers for a day of collaboration really highlights the importance of teamwork and strong relationships. It was a fantastic way to celebrate our most successful year yet, and we’re excited to build on this momentum by creating even more opportunities for partner growth in the future."

The day was a great success, with positive feedback from both presenters and guests. With that in mind, we’re excited to confirm that this will become a regular fixture on the Eclipse Wholesale calendar.

Stay tuned as we begin planning year two!
