As 2024 draws to a close, I’d like to reflect on the milestones and achievements that have defined Eclipse Wholesale this year. From celebrating two decades in business to achieving record-breaking growth, 2024 has been a year to remember.
A highlight of our celebrations was working with Soul2Sand to create an 80-foot sand art masterpiece at Beadnell Bay, a project inspired by one of our core values, teamwork. Every team member played a vital role in bringing this to life, highlighting the importance of each individual in our collective success over the last two decades.
2024 has been a year of growth. Our turnover increased by 26% and our partner base expanded by 48%, reflecting the hard work of our team. The team grew by 44%, doubling our sales team and nearly tripling our customer support team. We also celebrated our first full year of operations in Scotland, further solidifying our commitment to regional expansion.
Recently, we launched an exciting connectivity incentive programme, offering prizes of up to £1,500. Running until March 2025, this initiative has been a fantastic way to reward our partners for their loyalty and success. We look forward to continuing such programmes in the future.
Our product offerings also saw significant growth. The introduction of 8x8 services was met with great enthusiasm, achieving rapid uptake with over 439 licences sold in the second quarter. Mobile services also experienced notable expansion, with Eclipse now offering solutions across all major networks and welcoming a dedicated mobile specialist to our team. Connectivity remained our leading product.
As we look forward to 2025, we are thrilled to announce that Guide Dogs will be our Charity of the Year. Our goal is to fundraise throughout the year with the aim of naming a guide dog puppy once we’ve hit our target.
2025 is looking bright. We are well-positioned for sustained success with growing revenues, an expanding team, and a continuously evolving product portfolio. Our Eclipse Self-Service Portal (ESS) remains a key focus, alongside ongoing investment in employee training and engagement.
As we look ahead, our vision remains to become the UK’s leading channel wholesaler for small to medium-sized channel partners. By expanding our offerings in connectivity, unified communications and mobile services and by supporting our partners in transitioning from legacy services to modern solutions, we are confident that we can achieve success.
